Outlook 2003 min/max/close/options problems

I have seen the other posts regarding minimise. Mine is not set to hide when
minimise. Whenever I try to open Tools options, minimise, maximise or close
Outlook it hangs then error report appears. Outlook always opens as a small
window hence the desire to maximise. I have used fix and repair, no change.
All updates have been downloaded and installed. Running XP Home sp2. I
thought that MS Anti spyware beta and/or MSN indexing may be the problem but
disabled both with no change.
Anyone got any ideas?

What is logged to the Event Viewer regarding the crash?
Does it work correctly in safe mode? Start-> Run; " path to outlook.exe"
/safe

Tips of the month:
-FREE tool; QuickMail. Create new Outlook items anywhere from within Windows
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data

Problem solved, dodgy add in dll shown in Error Viewer, thanks for the tip.
Edited registry to remove all entries now Outlook works fine.
