Outlook 2003 message body

I have Outlook 2003 configured to pull email from my
Comcast account. All the headers show up but the message
bodies do not. None of them - ever. I've been running
outlook this way for years and recently needed to install
the program on a new computer.

I've verified that all the settings are the same as they
were on the old computer.

I do get a message when Outlook starts up that says:

"The extension configuration
file "C:...\addins\fldpub.ecf" could not be installed.
There is an error in the syntax or format of the file."

You get an OK button and the program launches without
incident.

I've searched high and low for and answer to this puzzle -
any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

i don't know anything about the error message--but have
you checked your sent/receive settings? From your inbox,
(1) select Tools | Options
(2) select the "Mail Setup" tab
(3) click the "Send/Receive" button
(4) click the "edit" button for "All Accounts" or
whatever is relevant for your comcast account
(5) make sure that "download complete item including
attachments" is selected (and that "download item
description only" is NOT selected).

if that setting is ok, perhaps someone else here will
know something more specific...
