Outlook 2003 lacks news

I use Microsoft Entourage 2004 in Mac OS X. I noticed Entourage has both
e-mail and news client. I wonder why Microsoft did not add news to Outlook
2003. If Outlook 2003 include news, this would be great rather than relying
on Outlook Express.

I presume that it is not possible to add a news client to Outlook 2003 from
Outlook users positing with Outlook Express.

It seems Microsoft did some things better in Office 2004 for Mac than its
Office 2003 for Windows version. Strange.

It's still there, but you must have Outlook Express selected as your
Newsreader, since OL uses it for News. Full details in OL Help under
Newsreader.

No, the user can select any news reader, not just Outlook Express for news
reading. Outlook will use the designated reader.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Mary asked:
