Many of our users have multiple mailboxes opened in Outlook 2003 and want to
filter junk mail from all of the opened mailboxes. How do we set it up so
that all of the mailboxes are filtered, not just the one?

the junk filter works only on the main mailbox. they'll need to open the
other mailboxes directly, not as a secondary mailbox. Theo only other option
is server side filtering.

Diane,

Thanks for the fast response, but that's not what I wanted to hear! Is there
any way to "trick" Outlook into filtering the secondary mailboxes (maybe
through a rule or something). I was hoping to get away from third-party
client products and go 100% Microsoft.

there are no tricks that I know of. if you use exchange 2003, enable the
imf filter - that will help to some degree.
