outlook 2003 installation

Trying to use outlook on this computer for the first time. Office
professional edition was installed on the laptop by Dell at time of purchase.
Have used Word ok. Now outlook 2003 will not start up. Repair and detect
does not work. CAB file seems to be missing. Have original discs but can
not reinstall either. Can the original disc be bad? I have the product key.
Can I download the needed file from the internet? Can I get a replacement
disc? Please help.

You are not giving us much information. What is the error you are
getting when trying to start Outlook?

Did you define an account, and if so, what type of account?

"Cannot reinstall" - meaning what? Do you get installation errors?
