Outlook 2003 installation error msg

When attempting to install Outlook 2003, installation stops and gives a
message, "Waiting for cabinets to be cached to local installation source -
File: CR561401.CAB

What do I do?

Well, you can make a new folder on the desktop, copy the files from the
Outlook cd into the new folder and run setup from that folder.

Are you installing over a network? Try copying the files to your hard drive.

I am having the same problem.

What I don't understand is:

1. By "over a network", do you mean am I downloading the program or just am
I online while trying to load from a disc?

2. By "copy to my hard drive", should I copy the files to a folder I create
in the Programs folder called Office or should I copy them from the disc to
the desktop or, possibly, is there another option I'm not thinking of?

Sorry for seeming dense, but I want to make sure I've done it correctly.

Also, what's going to happen to what was loaded from the disc to this point?
Should I look for Office files in the Install/Uninstall Programs and
uninstall them?

I'm always hesitant to stop the loading of software manually.

I'm sorry, I just realized you've been talking about Outlook only. I'm
having the same problem only with the full Office 2003 Student and Teacher
version program.

Do the same solutions apply?
