Hi

I have an exchange server 5.5. 5 machines on my netwok are running Outlook
2003. When 3 of these machines open outlook, they get a 'Exchange server not
responding' message. If you click retry, they then connect fine. I have
tried doing a repair install of the software with no result. Any ideas would
be appreciated.

Checked the resources on the Exchange 5.5 machine? It could be too busy.

Nope. It's always the same machines that are affected, and it happens when
they are the only people on th network.

Does it happen for all users that logon to that PC or for specific users? In
the case of the first try reinstalling TCP/IP. In case of the last recreate
the Mail Profile for those users.

Sorry - I should have mentioned the things I have tried.

I have tried re-installing TCP/IP with no effect, and all other net work
relted issues on afected machines are fine. I have also tried opening the
users accounts on other machines running outlook 2003. The boxes are not
corrupt, they open fine on the other machines. If I try to open other boxes
on the affected machine, I get the same problem.

I have also tried doing a comlete office uninstall, then re-install, butthe
problem persists. Short of re-installing the entire machine I am at a loss.
