Outlook 2003 error on .ost file

After installation of Office Pro 2003 on an XP Pro box, once I execute
Outlook, I receive this error "Outlook is using an old copy of your Offoine
Folder fil (.ost). Exit Outlook, delete the .ost file, and restart Outlook.
A new file will be automatically created the next time you initiate a
send/receive." I have turned on hidden files, but when I search for an .ost
file, there are none. Please help as this is a problem with all the XP Pro
machines running Outlook 2003.

Thanks,

The search feature of Windows Explorer under XP will not traverse
hidden/system directories unless you configure it to do so. In any event,
that OST should be under \documents and settings\<userid>\local
settings\application data\microsoft\outlook.
