Outlook 2003 email notifier

Does anyone know of an email notifier for Outlook 2003. I can't believe it
doesn't come with one. I must be blind or stupid....Thanx

You decide. Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail Options>Display a
New Mail Desktop Alert
 
If you are blind or stupid, so am I. We just installed Outlook 2003 and I can't find anything other than the little envelope 30 second pop-up under tools. There must be something that stays on the desktop and doesn't only appear in a disappearing tool bar. HELP
 
No, that is the 2003 replacement for that annoying message box that appears
and interferes with anything else you are doing at the time.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
