Outlook 2003 displays e-mail source instead of message

Outlook 2003 on Vista displays source code instead of message for some
e-mails. Message originally sent in HTML with attachments is displayed as
plain text containing e-mail source - headers, parts etc. The same message is
displayed correctly in Outlook 2003 on XP.

The usual cause is scanning your incoming mail with an antivirus scanner.
Uninstrall your AV program and reinstall it without any mail scanning feature.
You will be just as safe. See if that makes a difference.

Brian,

I am having the same trouble. I have a brand new computer, which I have not
loaded any virus scanning software onto as of yet. It is also my
understanding that the computer did not come with this type of software
pre-installed. I have this issue with mail from only one specific sender. I
have added that sender to my approved senders/recipients lists, and am still
not getting the mail correctly. Do you have any other suggestions to correct
this problem?

Thank you in advance for your help!
