[Outlook 2003] Can't open messages using word as email editor.

Hi all.
Since some days I can no longer edit messages (new ones or replies) because
of an error loading Word, I try to translate the message I get from italian:
"Current email editor is Microsoft Word but Word is not available, is not
installed or doesn't correspond to the current version of Outlook. Outlook
editor will be used. OLE registration error. Application not correctly
installed. Repeat installation."
Word itself works fine.
I tryed to repair the installation of office 2003 but the problem is still
there.
Any advice?

Thank you Brian,
I red the content of the above document but none of the suggestions was
applicable to my case.
After further googling I found an article where someone suggested to
re-register ole32.dll, so it resolved the problem executing this command:
Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\Ole32.dll
