Outlook 2003 BCM on laptop unusable without network post backup?

Hi... before the last round of patches (August) I backed up the Off2k3 BCM
and PST files to a share on the peer-to-peer server-less LAN from one of the
sales guys laptops and ran the updates from WU and MSOffice. Since then the
laptop has no access to the BCM database unless it is connected to the
network and I have found no solution for this. Is there some sort of
ownership issue I'm missing or some aspect of the SQL-light stuff on the
laptop? I would like to have this laptop and software working stand-alone or
off my network completely... "as is" this BCM is hindering sales and
productivity and is otherwise destined for removal.
