Outlook 2003 auto loads Windows Messenger

Is there a way to stop Outlook 2003 to stop autoload
Messenger? Everytime i go into my inbox in Outlook 2003 it
loads messenger in the task bar and you can't quit it only
if you close Outlook 2003.

Have you tried:
Tools Menu
Options
Click the Other tab
Under Personal Names, uncheck the two check boxes
Then you will probably want to restart Outlook.

Hopefully this works.
