Outlook 2003 And Word 2002 as Editor

Can it possibly be true that you cannot use Word 2002 as your editor with
Outlook 2003? I just installed Outlook 2003 today and when I tried to make
Word 2002 my email editor, it isn't even an option. The choices are Word
2003 and since I don't have that, it is just grayed out. Is there a way
around this? What a pain!
