outlook 2003 and exchange 2003

Geoffrey

Hello,

I buy Exchnage 2003 and I receive the install cd for outlook 2003. I
purchase some CAL.
So, I install and activate it without problem on some pc.
But now, I can't add other outlook 2003. "Activation not possible, max
permitted license...".

Outlook 2003 activation isn't included with exchnage 2003 CAL ?

Thx

Are you running the Licensing service? In general, the Licensing service
doesn't do a very good job with Exchange licenses since the service usually
sees more than one license used per each Outlook to Exchange Sever
connection. The usual fix is to turn the Licensing service off.

Not working.

and when I try to register by phone, I have the same message.
Do I miss anything when I register my Exchange CAL ?

Sorry, I miss-read your original post. The condition I was referring to
occurs when the Licensing service decides all the CALs are in use and won't
allow another client connection to the Exchange Server; it has nothing to do
with not being able to activate Outlook. This is beyond anything I've dealt
with and sounds like an issue for Product Support.
