Outlook 2003 Adress Book problem continued

This is the error message I get on the bounced back emails related to my
previous question:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at smtpout01-04.mesa1.secureserver.net.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<[email protected] SMTP (e-mail address removed)>:
170.135.216.129 does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 550 Requested action not taken - Mailbox not allowed
Giving up on 170.135.216.129.

So there's something in the format of the emails when I select them from the
Popup address book that causes the recipient's email server not to recognize
the address.

Help !

Following your directions - this is what I see after double clicking on the
email address in my contacts:

Robert Johnson ([email protected] SMTP (e-mail address removed))

I'm not sure what you mean by "like the attached"

Robert Johnson is the king of the delta blues; he really doesn't work at us
bank, and he's dead anyway. I am of course changing the name. This is my 28th
year in the pc industry.

I attached a picture of what you should see. Perhaps since you're not using
a real newsreader apparently you can't see it. When you double-click on the
email address you should see a dialogue box with several fields. The top
field, labeled "Display name" should contain the name displayed in the To
field when you add the contact. The second field, labeled "E-mail address"
should contain a correct email address. The third field should be labeled
"E-mail type" and should contain the address type of "SMTP", "X400", or some
other value, but most often it will be "SMTP" and will be grayed out. To
the right of that field should be a button that says "Custom type" or
"Internet type", depending on E-mail type. Finally, you should see a
drop-down labeled "Internet format".

How is anyone here supposed to know that? It was just a caution and while
it may not apply to you, it certainly bears repeating for those who are not
so experienced as you.

Ok when I click on the email address I do see a dialogue box with several
fields you describe.

The top field - Display name - has this:

Robert Johnson([email protected] SMTP (e-mail address removed))

The second field - Email address has this:

(e-mail address removed) SMTP (e-mail address removed)

The third field - email type - has smtp grayed out and I can see the button
for Custom Type

The fourth field - interent format - says let Outlook decide the best
sending format

I am using the firefox browser - not a newsreader

What next and thanks for your help.

This is the field that's incorrect, of course, and I can't explain how it
came to contain what you see, but if you were to correct it, this contact,
at least, will work.
