Outlook 2003 - Address Book is Confusing

B

Barry

Outlook Express allowed me to make folders in the Address
Book. This allowed me to group individual e-mail address
(e.g., accounting, family, etc.) and keep things neat.
We switched over to Outlook 2003 and I now have one huge
folder called Contacts within Outlook Address Book that
is a jumble of all my e-mail addresses. HELP!! How do I
make smaller folders, or addressbooks, or "personal
address books" to keep things neat. Also, how do I move
the existing addresses into these new folders or books.

NOTE: this is different from creating Distribution
Groups - that is working fine.

Create as many Contact subfolders as you wish. Enable each as an email
address book in its properties. Each will then appear in your Outlook
Address Book.

But not all rolled up into one. You have to select each folder in
turn to look for a contact.

Which is what the original poster was asking for: a way to group Contacts.
Your point?
