Outlook 2002

Client gets messages with internet links. When she tries
to open the link, IE opens, but not the link she chose. It
just opens empty. She must then copy and paste the link
into the browser to open the link.

Have tried Office XP repair and uninstall/reinstall. Also
tried reinstalling the latest IE version. Nothing works.

Has anyone run into this problem? Are there registry
entries that should be removed after an uninstall and then
reinstall again?

This is not your problem. It is the client's security
settings or ISP that prevent links from opening. Is the
client using Outlook Express? There's a security setting
that she can change to allow links. If she's using
Outlook, the security might be too high. If she is using
AOL, that's the problem and the only solution is to cut
and paste, as she is doing now.
