Outlook 2002 - Read Mail Disappears

Hi all,
When I open new mail in Outlook 2002 and then close it,
it disappears from my inbox and is not to be found in any
folder. All unread mail resides in the inbox until I
read it, and then poof...gone. Any ideas on what setting
I may have goofed on?

Change you view to show all mail; not just unread messaegs.
