Outlook 2002 Password Retention

Even though I have Remeber Password boxes checked with
Outlook 2002 (E-mail account seetings and when I first
open up Outlook and have to sign-on), the passowrd field
is always blank.Outlook 2002t doesn't want to retain my
password!

Am I mssing some other setting or do I have to get into
Registry editting?

There have been several recent issues with passwords not being retained with
Outlook. SP1 solves many of these in Outlook 2002, so start there. If that
doesn't work, here are some other solutions:

For Outlook 2000 or 2002 on Win 98, NT, or 2000:
