I know there is an easy answer.

I have 100 contacts and have assigned them various
multiple categories (e.g. Family, Work, Church,
Neighbors, Close Friends, Christmas Cards, Golfing
Buddies, etc.). So one contact might have several
assigned categories (e.g. Tom Smith is filed
as "Neighbor, Golfing Buddy, Christmas Card").

How do I print lables for just ONE category? (i.e. How
could I print out all my Christmas Card contacts?)

When I currently use WORD (Tools/Letters & Mailing/ Mail
Merge Wizard) then export the Contacts I see no way to
break out one catgeory from another. If I start in
OUTLOOK and export to (let's say) an EXCEL file, all of
the categories end up in one column, separated by a coma.

What you can do is to select those contacts forwhich you wanna do a mai
merge and then put them under a separate folder under the defaul
contacts folder. Now, when you try to do a mail merge, you can selec
the subfolder under the Contacts folder and then do a mail merge fo
those contacts alone.

Hope this Helps !!

You can't filter a mail merge by category from Word. So filter your Contacts
by Category in Outlook and start the merge from there.

Yep. That's what I just learned. 1. Select All the
category of interest in Outlook; then 2. Tools / Mail
Merge...and go from there as I would in WORD. It will
launch WORD and I'm in business. Thanks for the tip.
