Outlook 2002 freezing

My company has a few users that use Outlook 2002 and occasionally the program
will lock-up or freeze. It appears to occur during the send and receive
function, but I have no symptoms or clues as to why. The systems are running
W2k with SP4 and all updates installed, including all Office updates.

So far, I have not found any entries in any event logs that indicate what
the problem may be.

Can anyone steer me in a direction that might help me start diagnosing the
problem?
