Outlook 2002 corrupt image

A user using Outlook 2002 sent an email with an image
pasted on the message body but the recipients received
the image as an attachment in addition to it being
displayed on the message body. They also received
multiple *.wmz attachments (these are all the same
Windows Media Player skin).

The recipients are not using Outlook 2002.

Is this a compatibility issue or is it something else? No
virus was found.

Your ideas would be much appreciated.
