Outlook 2002 cannot authenicate user with Exchange 2003

Fixed the Trusts between the two domains at work. After which only the
outlook 2002 office XP windows XP pro clients could not authenicate users
with exchange server. "Does not have permission to login". Please help.
 
More background to my issue. When I started at my current company, there was
two Domains, the exchange server was on one domain and the other domain is
the primary login domain with the file and print servers. There was no trust
between the two domains and the backups for the exchance server were not
running. After establishing the 2-way trust the back up are working but the
below problem is now happening.
