Outlook 2002 Calendar categories and Palm

When I synch. my Palm with Outlook, it synchs. fine but
does not synch. the categories. I have to edit the
category on each event as it synchs. as "unfiled". This
happens whether I enter on Outlook on PC or on Palm.

How do I get the categories to synch?

(FYI - I have categories set up on my Contacts and they
synch. just fine).

What conduit program are you using to sync your Palm with Outlook?

"Outlook"? There's usually something in between Outlook and the Palm
unit...like PocketMirror, for instance. Which Palm unit do you have?

OK -- according to the PalmOne website, the Tungsten E shipped with Palm's
own conduits for Outlook. Unfortunately I'm not too familiar with those
since I own an older Palm unit and I use PocketMirror as my Outlook conduit
program. You might want to go to http://www.palmone.com/us/support/ and
click on the "Palm Outlook Conduits FAQ" link...perhaps your question will
be answered there. I suspect it's a settings issue. Good luck!
