Outlook 2002 and 2003 Compatibility Issue?

Originally received some emails in outlook 2002, transferred them to another
PC and opened them using Outlook 2003. When I transferd the emails back to
the other PC and attempted to open them again using Outlook 2002, I receive
"can't open this item" message.
