Outlook 2002 + address book

K

kb

When I create a new e-mail if I click on the TO box so I can enter multiple
recipients I get a message that "The address book could not be displayed,
the Contacts folder associated with the address list could not be opened it
may have been deleted or moved."

Then if I click OK I get a new box with "Select Names" that should show all
the addresses...
Now if I go to the drop down menu at the top next to "Show names from the"
it has "Outlook Address Book" & 2 entries for "Contacts" the first entry for
Contacts (seems to be the default) is blank but the second one if I select
that, all my contacts are displayed....

What I want to to is either delete the blank entry for Contacts or makr the
second one the default entry....

Any ideas?
Thanks
Keith

The best course of action is to use the Tools | E-mail Accounts dialog to remove the Outlook Address Book service, then restart Outlook and add it back in.
