I am wondering about the file name and location of
the "Outlook Address Book" (not the "Personal Address
Book").
Where is it located? What is it called?
Is it possible to change the default location to a
different one (for backup purposes)?
Thanks for your help!
Michaela

The Outlook Address Book is not a separate entity; it's just another view of
the contents of your Contacts folder(s). Therefore, all the data is stored
in the .PST file, or in the Exchange mailbox if you're using Exchange. You
can move a .PST file anywhere you like and then just show Outlook where it
is; however, Microsoft does not support keeping a .PST file on a network
share due to the increased risk of file corruption.
