Outlook 2000

Steve

When I close Outlook 2000 it does not close out completely
and continues to receive messages. I looked in Task
Manager/Processes and find that there are two outlook.exe
open. When I close Outlook and look again there is still
one outlook.exe open. I can end the process of
outlook.exe through the Task Manager/Processes and it does
not receive when the program is closed. Does anyone know
what to do to stop the outlook.exe from opening twice.

Try this; if you go into Task Manager again like you
did...look for a process that has a definition
referencing Mapi32. End the Task on Mapi32 and
restart...see what happens...
