Outlook 2000

I had an error, when I tried to open my outlook. It said error quit outlook.
go to microsoft , document settings, application. Use inbox tool repair. I
found the file but it won't let me open to get to inbox tool repair
 
Start again from the beginning and please tell us clearly enough that we can
tell what you did and what happened. We cannot decipher your post.
