If both "puter"s are using Outlook 2k, there's no reason you can't export
that contacts folder inside Outlook as a pst file. Import on the other PC.
The only crux may be size of the pst file that will govern the removable
media size. Both PCs must be able to access that same type removable media.
Be it floppy, CD, DVD, or thumb/flash drive.

You should NOT use the export and import function to move data from Outlook
to Outlook. Those functions are designed to export and import Outlook Data
between other applications, such as Excel or Access. using these functions
to manipulate Outlook data can easily end with a corrupted pst file.

To the OP - create a new pst file. Copy your Outlook contacts into it. Close
Outlook. Copy the new pst file to the new machine. open Outlook. Go to
File-Open-Outlook data File. Copy the contacts into the existing pst file.
