Outlook 2000

I had to have a new hard drive installed in my Sony
computer and am trying to install Outlook 2000 from my
Dell Axim 5 CD in order to syncthe two.
Outlook will install to a certain point then quits and
locks my computer so that I have to turn it off ( will not
restart or shut down from start)
Does anyone have any suggestions?
 
What error do you get and at what point do you get it? Anything logged to
the Event Viewer regarding this?
