Hello,

I can assign tasks no problem but when people in the workgroup receive the
email notifying them of the task there is no "Accept" button.

Also the task remains as an email when dragged to the tasks folder. It
cannot be updated.

We are not using Exchange Server.

We ARE using Workgroup Mail which works fine for everything else.

Is this an "MS Exchange" only feature?

I have tried "detect and repair" etc. but to no avail.

Most frustrating.

Anyone got any ideas?????

How do you address the Task by typing in the address or selecting from an
Address Book

The task is assigned by clicking the "assign task" button and selecting a
name from the contacts list.

The names can also be selected from the LDAP server.

Typically the problem is that the Task isn't going as a Outlook Rich Text
formatted item which is vital for the special functionality of the Accept /
Decline buttons. To set that its goes as a Outlook Rich Text item either
double click the email in the address line and set it to Rich Text or open
up the user contact and double lick the email address and set it to Rich
Text format.
