outlook 2000 text wrapping problem

Outlook just lost the ability to wrap text when typing a new message. The
line extends without wrapping. Turning on Word as the text editor is a
workaround but creates more overhead. Am using html formatting and has been
working fine up till now.

Tried running an MS Office repair but no luck....is there anything short of
a complete uninstall/reinstall to solve the problem?

What is the wrap setting in Tools>Options>Mail Format?
