Outlook 2000 SP3 + Outlook Today problems

Calendar, task and mail folder items are blank in the Outlook Today
view (although set up for displaying these folders in "Customize" O.T)
- it should show items in these respective folders. It appears there is
a disconnect between the O.T. items and the actual folders (i.e., those
with items). I tried using "Correct and Repair" under Help. How do I
get O.T. to recognize the calendar, task and mail folders WITH ITEMS IN
THEM?

Phew! Problem solved. Somewhere along the line after (or during)
install of SP3, or the "Correct and Repair" operation, Outlook created
another "Personal Folders" set of files which, because it was empty,
and was used for "Outlook Today" purposes, left me with a blank Outlook
Today. To get rid of the extra PF folder you have to right click on the
one you want, select it as the destination for (POP) mail, shut down
and restart computer, open Outlook, then right click on extra PF folder
and select "close". (Microsoft manages to make things so complicated,
it took me all day to recover from an SP3 installation, what a bunch a
jerks!)
