Outlook 2000 -- rename Archive Folders in folder list does not "stick"?

OS: Windows 2000
Outlook 2000 SP3
Issue: Renaming "Archive Folders" in the Folders List does not stick.
I renamed my "Archive Folders," for example, Large Emails Archive
Folder. When I restart my machine the next day, it is back to "Archive
Folders." Anyone has a solution?

I just tried renaming mine in OL2003 and it seemed to stick. Are you right
clicking on the root of the Archive Folder, choosing Properties, clicking
Advanced and changing the name there?

From recollection; Apart from renameining the Archive within OL, with OL
closed rename the actual archive file.
