Outlook 2000 - Outbox sending/but not showing as Sent

Just recently, my Outlook (2000) has started acting oddly. When I send a
message, it goes into the Outbox, but never leaves the Outbox - despite being
sent. While the message remains in the Outbox - it also does not appear in
the Sent folder - though it has been sent.

What is going on???? This just started happening out of the blue.

I have rebooted my PC, but this has not helped. I am running Windows XP
PRO SP2 and am using a PST for my personal folders (size=153MB).

Please help!

Aha....
Apparently my Sent Box folder contained so many items, that it no longer
accepted new entries. How that effected my Outbox I don't understand - but
by deleting my sent box items, I am now able to operate properly.....

Problem Solved....
