Outlook 2000 not opening URL links

I have 2 users configured on my XP system with each setup
to use Outlook 2000 as their email program. I had been
using Netscape as my default browser so when I clicked on
a link in an email Netscape would open and connect to the
URL. I switched my default browser to IE 6 and on my
main user ID everything works as it should with IE now
opening and connecting to links from Outlook email.
However the second ID has a problem. When I click on a
link in an Outlook email the IE window opens but nothing
else happens. It never connects to the URL and no error
messages are displayed it just sits there with a blank IE
window. Anyone have any ideas on what I need to llok for
to resolve this issue?...thanks

have you done any updates or patches to your IE or
Netscape recently? that could be the issue. and also you
might want to check and make sure that you have that box
checked in the properties for email URLs.

hope that helped.

The only change I have made is to remove Netscape and
make IE the default browser. As I mentioned in my
previous post one ID works fine but the other has this
problem. I have looked through all the settings, options
and properties that I can find but nothing seems to be
different from one ID to the other. Which properties are
you talking about where you see a box for email URLs?
