Outlook 2000 -- archived file question

I am trying to open a archived file that is stored on a file server and I get
the following error.

Cannot open the destination store \"<0S>\". Is it password protected? This
version of Outlook doesn't support archiving to password protected archive
stores.

How are you trying to open it? Describe the exact steps.

Can you copy it to your local hard drive and open it?
