I am running OL 07/ XP on a Lenovo x61 Tablet and have all latest updates...

I am having an issue sending. This seems to be random although it MAY be on
mail I originate with multiple recipients (still testing).

When I send, the message does not go and the send cycle continues to repeat
rapidly (like 300 times or more a minute). Even with the send/ receive task
box open it seems to be impossible to cancel. the only way to kill the
process is to disable my interent connection and force-close outlook through
Task Manager.

I use NEO Pro with Outlook but this is happening even when NEO has not
opened. This happened randomly (1 or 2 times a year) before and I have
always simply killed the mail, erased the message, recreated and sent. That
does not work this time.

Any help very much appreciated as this is tough to work around.

I'm having the exact same problem. I will add that I can reply to emails,
but if I create a new email I experience this problem. I will be watching
this thread.

An update-

This happened again today. Seems one of the adresses received and the other
did not. the reply however may have provided a clue. Adressee 1 is hosted
at Dreamshost and that email went through fine But inthe reply, adressee 2
(who is at comcast) had an address in the header of
"(e-mail address removed)". Could outlook be somehow corrupting the
addressing? BTW- addressee 2 is my wife and so not a new address in my email
history. Again- any help much appreciated.

I am having the same problem and if I type the email addresses instead of
using the Contacts, it works fine. Besides, I noticed that if I am sending to
only 1 recipient, the to: recipient retrieved from Contacts works fine as
well. However, if I try to email to more than 1 recipients and retrieve the
recipients from Contacts, it puts Outllok into an endless sending loop.

I have tried to open the Contacts and save them again, I have tried to
delete the Contacts and re-enter them again. The same symptom appears and can
be easily re-produced. It can be avoided now by either typing multiple
recipient email addresses directly into the To: box instead of retrieveing
from Contacts, or I send the email multiple times by having only 1 recipient
retrieved from Contacts. However, it is very inconvenient and makes the
Contact a bit useless for email.

Anyone having the same sympton as me and find a solution to it ?

I am running the following configuration:-
- Windows Vista Home Premium
- Avast! Anti-virus free version
- Office 2007
- Outlook 2007

It started happening to me also. Last night. Fine if only 1 contact or multiples typed in. Endless send if multiple contacts.

Running a new, clean Dell Latitude D830, Vista Ultimate SP1, Office 2007 SP1 MSO, Office Small Business, all latest MS updates. No programs installed recently to indicate clashing.

I did some testing and some of my recipients responded they received up to 3 copies, so they're going thru. Happens whether I'm wireless or wired.

Seems to be connected to using Windows Mobile to sync to my PDA. Problem went away when I edited all contacts 'Display As' to not include the eddress in brackets at the end. Go figure? Microsoft gotchya?
