I have a file in my outbox that I think is too big. My daughter was trying
to send a file with lots of pictures attached. Even though I have the
"middle size" DSL from Bellsouth, the file will not do anyting but sit there
and try to send. It locks up outlook from doing anything else. When I try
to go the the outbox, it takes forever and them seems to lock up the system.
It will not let me delete the file. I finally managed to get it offline so
that I could switch identities so that my husband and son could check their
email. we have no other email accounts. How can I get the file out of my
inbox?

Are you using outlook or outlook express? See help, about if unsure.

If outlook, delete it from the outbox while outlook is offline - if OE find
and delete the outbox.dbx file.
