Hi good folks!!
I got failed message while sending mail with Windows Mail program this
morning. It has been worked properly into now.

I use Norman AV system - and the message is:

Unknown failed, protocol:SMTP,Port:0,Secure (SSL):no,failecode:0x800C013E.

The SMTP port servere was setting to 25, not 0. But it probably changes to 0
while sending, I don't know....

Anyone can help please??

Thanks in advanced!!

It changes to 0 in response to your Norton AV system, which is the culprit
here. Norton AV is the single, largest troublemaker for any and all email
clients. It is far more invasive and MUCH more DESTRUCTIVE than any malware
it's designed to keep out. Uninstall Norton completely, run their cleanup
tool to remove all the trash the uninstaller leaves behind, then do a custom
re-install and DO NOT load any email scanning features/modules/components
what so ever. Email scanning is entirely redundant, it adds ZERO additional
protection, and it's most prolific action is to create email problems where
none exist. Your system is fully protected without it, provided you keep
the resident file system scanner up to date.

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool

There is a bit of a difference between Norman AV and Norton AV. You are correct
though with your post to the OP . He should do the same with Norman as you posted
