Outgoing email is dated in the future

What would cause Outlook 2007 to randomly assign a date in the future on sent
emails?

Thanks for responding. No the PC's clock is set correctly. What I mean by
"randomly" is that sometimes the correct date and time is posted on an
outgoing email and other times it is dated something in the future.
