Out2002 Archive Error-Items could not be copied

Whenever I try to archive my Exchange Inbox with Outlook
2002, I get the following error:
'Error while archiving folder "Inbox" in store "Mailbox-<
my name... >". Some items could not be copied. They were
either moved or deleted, or access was denied.'
The archiving activity starts up and runs for a few
seconds before the error is displayed, but since I can't
tell which item(s) it's failing on, I can't either remove
the items or skip it/them. The same problem happens if I
choose the Calendar folder individually, the Inbox
individually, or the entire Mailbox plus all subfolders.
I'd appreciate any help/ideas.

How big is the .PST file you're archiving to?

OK, that's not too high...how about the folders you're trying to add to in
the archive file? Do any of them contain a LOT of items (either over 16,000
in a single folder or 65,000 in a single folder depending on whether or not
large table support has been enabled for that .PST)?

Thanks, again, Jocelyn.
It does not appear that the number of items approaches the
limits cited.
The Inbox of the archive file is largest with 4,193 items,
the Sent Items of the archive has 1,317 items.
I just reran the archive with a more current cutoff date
(12/13/03), and it looks like items between 11/28/03 and
12/13/03 were successfully moved, but items from 10/14/03
and 11/28/03 remained behind (and the error popped up
again).
Interestingly, I then pointed to a new Archive file and
the same error message was delivered to my active Deleted
Items folder, after having backed up only one Draft item
and 39 KB worth of Calendar items. So now, I seem to have
a problem regardless of the Archive .pst file(?).

I'm having the same problem and i cannot find a single clue on the
internet. This is the first thing that even mentiones the problem.

1. Not too many items.
2. Different dates/folders/auto archive settings/.pst file don't help.
3. The file is on a mapped network drive... because the person travels
alot from one office to the other. In one office I managed to fix the
problem by re-creating, Outlook profile + .pst file. But ever since he
went to another computer on another site the problem is there again.
Over and over. The scanpst.exe didn't detect any problems with the
archive either.

grtz.
