I don't have Microsoft Exchange which is why I looked to Article ID#311107
titled "How to Emulate the Out of Office Assistant in Microsoft Outlook" in
the "Microsoft How To" to use as a parallel but it says that I need the
"Exchange Server transport service in an Outlook user's profile". I created
to template and set up the auto reply rule but how do I apply the message
without using the Exchange Server transport service?

Ignore the instructions related to Exchange. You need to follow the ones for creating a regular reply rule in Outlook.

How do you set up the auto reply to incoming messages when you do not have
Microsoft Exchange? In Exchange you go to Tools-Out Of Office Assistant-"I
am currently out of the office" but there is not place in Microsoft Outlook
to do that or is there?

This article does not tell how apply the auto template that I have made.
That's what I'm trying to find out. Is there a place under Tools (like there
is using Exchange) or Options that allowing me to apply it when I am going to
be out of the office?
