Out of office delegate

Hai,

I have a question:
I am a secretary and my manager has made me delegate of his mailbox/agenda.
I have arranged with our IT department that all emails that my manager is
receiving, those emails will also appear in my own mailbox.
When I am out of the office, and my out of office assistant is on, and
somebody is sending an email to my manager, this person is getting a mail
from me with the out of office message.
Can I check a box somewhere so that will not happen in the future again?
Thanks

No, as it appears they have done this via a server level forward or
distribution list. In that case, you receive the message as an original and
thus your OOF would reply as well.

The only way around this is to emulate the OOF yourself via rule and set the
appropriate exceptions.

Just curious; since you are a delegate with permissions to his mailbox, why
not access the mailbox directly instead? It would also solve this issue.
