Out of Office Assistant

I am having issues with the Out of Office Assistant
feature of Outlook. When I turn it on it only works with
those in the Global network, it does not send a message
to any outside e-mails to let them know I will not be
available. Can anyone give me any help on this, or is
this just the way it is?

yep, this feature is globally enabled on the server (e.g. send ooa messages
over the internet y/n).
