Out of Office Assistant wont work with exchange

I am on exchange server, but cant get me OOO Assitant to work. It wont reply
to any emails sent to me for some reason. I have also set up a rule too and
tried it that way, but that wont work either. Does anyone have any thoughts
as this is frustrating as it is affecting my business.

Are you testing from an internal or external (internet) account? The reason
that I ask is that the default behavior of Exchange will not permit auto
reply/forward or out of office notifications to be sent to external
addresses. You need to go to the server and turn it on and accept that this
*could* introduce mail loops.

Hi Neo, many thanks for the quick response. I was testing it from external. I
want to turn it on and accept it could intruduce mail loops. Can you let me
know how to turn it on please.
