Can somebody help me with this problem. Iam running
Outlook2003 connected to Exchange 5.5. When I try to open
my email, Igot this message "Can't open this item. Out of
memory or system resources. Close some windows or
programs and try again. I am running windows xp pro. I
closed all the programs, but still get the error. Any
idea on what should do next. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem. Mine seems to correct its
self when / if Outlook 2003 crashes. When it's re-opened
it works correctly. Quality product...

Thank you for your input. I could not use my outlook for
two days. I tried to reinstall, I got the same problem.
Now, I uninstall and re-install the Office XP back.

I un-installed Office 2003, rebooted, reinstalled (and
patched) outlook started working again when connecting to
an exchange server (was able to switch between another
IMAP and exchange several times). I thought the re-
install fixed the problem, BUT after 1 hour of using a
IMAP server I tried to connect back to the exchange
server and am having the same problem.

IF SOMEONE FROM MS IS READING THIS FORUM, CAN YOU PLEASE
HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM?

Outlook 2003 installed on several other pc's are able to
connect to my exchange server with out issues so I know
it's not a server problem.
