out going sound

hi,when i try to play a cd in media player the sound
going out to friends dont work thay say thay hear a
hummmmmmming sound and cant hear the song ,it worked
fine untill about 3 days ago i looked at all my setting (
i think } thay all look good.can some one help ? thank you
 
Do a System Restore to one day before the problem started:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
